After working in a traditional healthcare setting for a long time; I realized why I was not satisfied with the care I provided. I was working to make insurance companies happy and could not spend enough time with my patients. This is not how healthcare should be. So, I decided to take a pause. I studied more to obtain my board certification on Obesity management which will help me take care of my patients even better in a direct primary care model.

The Direct Primary Care setting will allow me to spend quality time with my patients; I will be able to treat them and guide them without insurance companies telling me what I can or cannot do in one visit.
